Attorney David Band is a collector of a vintage 1962 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II, and a member of the Rolls Royce Owner's Club. In addition to practicing law, he drives an occasional wedding or prom because there are so few Rolls Royces "proper" enough for a wedding in New Orleans. Rates are $325 per hour with a 2 hour minimum. That typically covers picking up the bride and her father where she dresses (home or hotel), a ride to the church, one hour wait in front of the church, and then a ride for the bride and groom from the church to the reception. For an additional charge, the car can wait at the reception until the party is over and the wedding crowd comes out to send the bride and groom off to their hotel. Photographers love to capture the arrival at the church and the newly married couple getting into the Rolls Royce after the marriage ceremony to a toast of champagne. In order to preserve the mileage of such a classic car, we do not drive weddings outside of New Orleans.
